RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK: FAVORITE SPOT FOR WILDLIFE LOVERS

During British rule, Maharajas of Rajputana states used to practice hunting in the south-east part of Rajasthan, which was later named Ranthambore National Park after India’s Independence.

To reach Ranthambore by railways, Sawai Madhopur is nearest railway station, which comes on the New Delhi- Mumbai rail route. Tourists can reach Kota and Jaipur, which are 110 kms and 130 kms away from Ranthambore respectively. Tourists can hire private cabs from Kota, Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur. The nearest airport is Jaipur, which is 130 kms away from Sawai Madhopur, and from Jaipur, private cabs are easily available.
